PokerScout.com, a website that monitors traffic for online poker rooms, has already ranked Full Tilt Poker as the 2nd most trafficked virtual card room in just under 24 hours.

The 24 hour traffic was triple that of the next closest competitor, iPoker Network.   PokerScout.com had Full Tilt Poker averaging 7500 “real money” players.

Residents of the USA are prohibited from playing on Full Tilt Poker at this time.

Two executives of FTP were indicted on April 15, 2011 following a lengthy investigation by US authorities into an elaborate payment processing scheme that resulted in millions of dollars being seized along with nearly a dozen arrests.  Charges included money laundering and bank fraud among others.  Full Tilt Poker was forced out of the US market and eventually shut down by its licensing arm, the Alderney Gambling Commission.

PokerStars entered into an arrangement with the US government to take over assets of Full Tilt Poker, including the company’s website, in exchange for returning funds of all affected players outside the United States.
