The FBI in conjunction with the Harris County Sheriffs Department conducted a raid on a Houston, Texas underground poker game late Tuesday night.
Some basic info about what was known as the I-45 South game:
It’s a very large game that’s been running for many years. They have $2,000 freerolls every night. Games running from 1/3 NL up to 5/10 on a regular basis.
Harris County Sheriff’s undercover agents had investigated the business for some time before making their move around 10:30 p.m.
The violators were loaded into police cars and onto a bus. Authorities would not say how much money or other goods were recovered.
It was not immediately known as to why FBI agents were directly involved in the raid.
