There’s little doubt that poker pro Daniel Negreanu provides us here at Gambling911.com with plenty of great material.  His crazed rants often cause controversy, for better or for worse.  This week was no exception.

Negreanu blasted an accused cheater who took part in the WPT Championship at the Bellagio, and he wasn’t alone.  The legend himself, Doyle Brunson, also unleashed on German poker player Ali Tekintamgac, though not quite as harshly as his colleague.

Tekintamgac was disqualified from last year’s Partouche Poker Tour Main Event for allegedly being supplied with information on opponents holecards.

An obviously miffed Negreanu tweeted:  “Ali Tekimtamgac who was caught cheating in Partouche is in #WPTChamp I called him out, and floor told ME I can’t do that! When will we learn.”

“Bellagio/WPT should absolutely not allow this person in the event. He was caught red handed (sic) cheating and should be banned. This is absurd.”

“The cheater just threatened Scott Siever, the floor was alerted and won’t do anything about it. Physical threat, he should call the cops.”

No decision has been made to prevent Tekintamgac from taking part in future poker tournaments.

LockPoker.com welcomes US players and those around the world.
