COCONUT CREEK, Fla. - The Coco Poker Open will begin a 12-day run at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Wednesday, September 21, at noon.

The Coco Poker Open will feature a $2,500 buy-in, $1 million guaranteed, No Limit Hold’em championship event, September 23-26. It will offer 25,000 in starting chips.

Following the $1 million guaranteed championship event there will also be a $250,000 guaranteed No Limit Hold’em event, September 29-October 2, with a $350 buy-in. It will offer 16,000 in starting chips.

Players may qualify for the championship event through a number of satellite events being held at the property beginning September 21.

Tournaments on August 3, August 8, August 17 and August 22 all have a $2,500 main event seat added to first-place.

Additionally, high hand winners on Saturdays in August from 10:15 a.m. to 2 a.m. win a $270 Coco Poker Open Mega Satellite entry every 15 minutes.

The tournament leader board prize pool in August will also offer a $2,500 main event seat (first-place); $1,000 Coco Poker Open voucher (second-place); $500 Coco Poker Open voucher (third-place); and a $270 Coco Poker Open Mega Satellite into Championship Event entry (fourth-place through 15th-place).

In addition to the $1 million guaranteed championship event and the $250,000 guaranteed No Limit Hold’em event, 14 other events are also on the schedule with guarantees ranging from $5,000 to $30,000.

This is the second stop this season for players to qualify for the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year Leaderboard, awarding over $100,000 in prizes to Main Event winners and points leaders.
