Female professional poker player, Clonie Gowen's widely publicized lawsuit recently hit another major obstacle last week as her latest $40 million lawsuit against the world's second largest internet poker site  Full Tilt Pokerwas dismissed outright by Federal Judge Robert Jones.

Originally, Gowen filed a $40 million lawsuit naming Full Tilt Poker, Tiltware, a series of related companies, Tiltware CEO Raymond Bitar and a group of Team Full Tilt players, claiming breach of contract. The lawsuit stemmed from her claim that back in 2004, Full Tilt executives offered her a 1% stake in the company and all she needed to do was be a public celebrity endorser for the site. At the time of the lawsuit filing, Gowen claims to have never received any of the money promised her. Complicating matters was Full Tilt's decision to drop her from the Team Full Tilt roster upon learning about the impending legal action.

Fast forward to last week when Judge Jones denied Gowen's initial claim and appeal, upholding a similar ruling he made in April 2009. However, the issue doesn't end here as the judge has granted Gowen permission to re-file her claim if she names only Tiltware as a defendant. It appears this case if indeed far from being resolved.
