The heavily sedated publisher of Bluff Poker Magazine is said to be recovering nicely and may be able to eat solid foods some time today.  Eric Morris underwent reconstructive surgery of his neck and nasal passage and is having additional biopsies done this week to determine the extent of his health problems.  He was still breathing via supplemental oxygen.

Well wishes were pouring in by the dozens on Wednesday from loved one's and friends.

"Best wishes for a speedy recovery. You are young. The body repairs itself," one message read.

"Eric- Hope you are feeling better soon! Big hugs to you for a speedy recovery!" another read.

Even Morris' stiffest competition sent flowers and a card:  "Rest in peace Eric," signed, The Shulmans.

Morris has been taking meds that make him hallucinate.  Upon waking up from his surgery he claimed to have had a near death experience where he was greeted at the Gates of Heaven by poker legend Doyle Brunson

Bluff Magazine is one of the leading online poker media outlets.
