One of those suspected in a brazen Berlin poker tournament robbery on March 6 has surrendered to police.

A spokesperson for the Berlin police, Michael Merkel, stated that the suspect surrendered and has been held since Monday night but refuses to reveal where any of the more than 200,000 euros in cash and other suspects may be hiding.

There were four bandits and potentially one accomplice who entered the Grand Hyatt Hotel while the European Poker Tour Berlin event was in place during its final hours.  A security guard managed to confiscate much of the cash before the robbers made their escape.

The identity of the suspect has not yet been revealed.
