‘Ballers’ Star Donovan Carter Hosts $50,000 Invitational Blackjack Tournament

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. - Ballers” star Donovan Carter hosted a $50,000 Invitational Blackjack Tournament last weekend at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.

Carter plays the role of star defensive end “Vernon Littelfield” on the HBO series, which will begin its second season on July 17. 

Among the executive producers of the series are Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Mark Wahlberg.

Johnson’s character, “Spencer Strasmore,” is a retired NFL player turned financial manager who has “Vernon” as one of his clients.
