Balazs Botond Wins Eureka 4 Prague Title and €206,948

PokerStars player Balazs Botond came back for the Eureka 4 Prague final day as 9th in chips (out of 10 players), but he eventually remained the last man standing.

The Hungarian has won a €206,948 first prize after he made a 3-way deal with Ayman Zbib and Athanasios Xenodochidis to guarantee €186,948. Then he went on to win the remaining €20,000 left for the champ. It is Botond's biggest live cashout, surpassing the €154,000 payday for a 4th place finish in EPT8 Campione.

He becomes the fourth Hungarian to win the Eureka title and second in this season, following Zoltan Gal, who was amongst a huge rail cheering for Botond during the heads-up. The new crowned Eureka champ will not celebrate too long though, he has already bought into tommorow's EPT Main Event day 1b.

The youngest finalist Atanas Malinov won his seat online via €82 satellite and turned it into €52,050 for a 6th place finish, making it the biggest score in the 21-year-old Bulgarian's carreer so far. David Novak was the only Czech who survived into final day; he fell just short of the final table after busting in 9th position. It means Eureka does not have a Czech champion after 4 seasons, despite the fact that most of the stops were held in the Czech Republic.
It's been the largest Eureka Main Event in tour's history, with 1,738 entries (all unique entries) and a €1,685,860 prize pool. 255 players were paid including Team PokerStars Pros Eugene Katchalov, Martin Hruby and Julien Brecard.
