A Manhattan judge yesterday threw the book at the two men he said were the masterminds behind a deadly 2007 heist at a Flatiron District poker parlor.

Former math teacher Frank DeSena, 55, was killed when one of the four thieves tripped and accidentally fired his gun.

Supreme Court Justice Lewis Bart Stone told "kingpins" William Delvalle and inside man Scelso Alvarez the shooting "was not an accident."

"This was a foreseeable result" of robbing a crowded poker parlor with guns, he told the two, who were convicted of murder and robbery earlier this year.

He sentenced Delvalle, who had a prior manslaughter conviction, to 25 years to life in prison, and Alvarez, whom he called "treacherous," to 22 years to life.

DeSena's widow, Kristine Jones, told the men their victim had a 19-year-old son.

"Sunday was Father's Day," she said. "My memories of what we lost were particularly vivid on that day."

Two other men, including the shooter, pleaded guilty.
