Americas Cardroom Unveils The Big Bang Software Update With Plenty of New Features

If you’re a diehard poker player and jump from one poker site to the next, chances are a lot of the sites look and feel the same. The lobbies are the same. Ditto on the table layout. And the sound effects? Copy + Paste, really.

But not at Americas Cardroom.

"Sure, our software experience feels natural," they reveal to Gambling911.com.  "But we just unleashed a major update that includes features not available anywhere else. Here’s a look at what’s new."
• Flying Chip: Watch out for a flying chip that could drop onto a cash table in the middle of a game. If you’re the first to click it, you could win a prize worth up to $10,000.
• Avatars: We have five new Avatars - Zombie, Alien, Executioner, Robot, and Basketball Head, with more to come. And you can alter them to reflect your mood.
• Player Observer Tool: Want to showcase your play and have your friends rail you? You can now give them a link to watch via any Flash-enabled web browser. They won’t need the ACR software to watch you in action.

• Double or Nothing:  Want to double your winnings or recoup what you lost after leaving a table? Our Double or Nothing game gives you the chance to select a black or red card for the chance to win.

• Tournament Ticket Manager: You can now manage your tournament tickets easier by seeing what’s available, the expiration dates and statuses.

“Our newest innovations are in good company with our most-recent addition, Sit & Go 2.0, plus our wildly successful OSS Cub3d, which saw nearly $8 million in prize money.

“Our hard work to improve and evolve your online poker experience won’t go unnoticed by the competition. Don’t be surprised if some of our new innovations turn up at rival poker sites in the coming years. But for now, the place to enjoy the best innovations in poker is Americas Cardroom.”
