J. Todd of Perspectives Weekly was on hand at the Global Gaming Expo this past week where he managed to grab an interview with Andre Wilsenach, the CEO of Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC).  The AGCC last week revoked Full Tilt Poker’s license.

Mr Wilsenach clearly points the blame at Full Tilt Poker for their 'deceptive' reporting and business practices. However, this leaves many to wonder if the AGCC really believes they are free of blame in this situation, and how "regulation" will change in the evolving online gambling and poker industry.

Wilsenach notes that licensees must have sufficient cash to deal with player liabilities, which Full Tilt Poker clearly did not.  The AGCC was confident that there was not a problem even after executives of FTP were indicted on April 15.

“We believed they were solvent,” he said.

But Wilsenach points out that an investigation by the AGCC revealed that the US DOJ had froze Full Tilt Poker funds over the past three years and that FTP mislead the AGCC.

“The trust relationship has immediately been broken,” Wilsenach stated.

As always, J. Todd delivers.  The video below is approximately 11 minutes long but it’s a must watch for those who are affected by the Full Tilt Poker matter.
