San Jose, Costa Rica – Talk about an incredible start to the Memorial Day Weekend. Three online poker players who created their poker accounts this month at Americas Cardroom are collectively $100,000 richer after popping the biggest possible Jackpot Poker pot on Friday morning.

"Congratulations to ambiance, thfp, and madman1024, who are sharing in our latest $100,000 jackpot," stated Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris. "It took just a few minutes to turn a $40 buy-in into tens of thousands of dollars for every player at the table. Not a bad way to start a long weekend."

Jackpot Poker tournaments are 3-player Hyper Turbo Sit & Go’s that last an average of 7 minutes. Poker players can enter for $2 and play for up to $5,000, enter for $10 and play for up to $25,000, or enter for $40 and play for up to $100,000. The prize pool is randomly drawn right before the start of the tournament.

Most Jackpot Poker tournaments are winner-take-all events, with the exception being some of the top-3 jackpot amounts in each buy-in category, including the $100,000 jackpot. This morning's $100,000 victory saw the 3 players play out three hands of poker, ultimately splitting their winnings with ‘ambiance’ taking $40,000 and the remaining two taking $30,000 apiece.

This isn't the first big jackpot to hit this week. A few days ago, an online poker player popped a $25,000 jackpot. He requested his withdrawal by Bitcoin and received his money within 2 hours.

Americas Cardroom is known for fast cashouts. The online poker site has consistently earned top marks for fast payment processing from an independent payment report site. While some payments take just a few days, Bitcoin withdrawals offer players the chance to get their hands on their money virtually instantly, depending on the size of the cashout requested.

$120,000 Sunday Special

Players looking for 6-figure prize pools don't have to wait for the next Jackpot Poker game to hit. This weekend, Americas Cardroom's Sunday Special poker tournament is guaranteed at $120,000, the largest Sunday poker tournament in the United States. The prize pool will continue to grow each week by $5,000, as long as the guarantee is met.

Those interested in winning the next big jackpot can play in regular Jackpot Poker games or vie for a WSOP package in special World Series of Jackpot games, in which 2 out of 3 players in each game get to play again if the jackpot isn't hit.

Americas Cardroom has brought poker back to the U.S. in a major way, first with its $1 Million guaranteed tournaments, Million Dollar Sundays, and by sending dozens of players to the WSOP Main Event this July. Early next week, the Winning Poker Network CEO will be discussing the latest World Series of Poker winners on WPN's Twitch TV channel.
