The NHL regular season gets underway exceptionally early this year, dropping the puck with an opening-day tripleheader on Tuesday, September 29th. For comparison, last year’s campaign didn't get started until October 7th.
With teams now gearing up for a newly expanded 84-game schedule, the oddsmakers at BetOnline Sports & Casino have adjusted accordingly with their over/under regular-season point projections.
