Everyone agrees that sustainable gambling is a good thing, and the Kindred Group has taken a proactive approach in making sure it’s at the forefront of the leading minds in the industry. Each year since 2016, it has organized the Sustainable Gambling Conference, and it has recently announced the date and location for the 2018 event.

Sustainable Gambling Conference 2018 - The Details

The event will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, on October 16th, 2018. It will run between 09:00-17:00 and will be held at Mälarsalen, Münchenbryggeriet, Torkel Knutssonsgatan, 2 118 25.

Kindred officially confirmed the event with a Tweet. Attendees can confirm via Event Tribe or by e-mailing sustainablegambling@kindredgroup.com to confirm. Best of all, the event is free to attend.

What Will Be Covered?

The purpose of the conference is for experts in the industry to openly discuss ideas related to sustainable gambling, how to promote it, and other related ideas. Keynote speakers will include Professor Mark Griffiths and Kindred CEO Henrik Tjärnström, as well as several national gambling authorities.

High on the agenda will be underage gambling and how to prevent it, compliance with anti-money laundering laws, integrity in sports, and much more.

“The event comes at a time when, especially in Sweden, the online casino industry has become highly competitive and is on the verge of removing its monopoly by offering licenses to international operators. This might positively affect businesses  that test and compare swedish online casino operators like the ones on nya-casinon.online/svenska-casinon,” said Andreas, one of the experts in online casino comparison.

Sweden has historically been closed to international operators, but a key event such as this being held in its capital city is a sign of the times. Things are changing in Sweden quickly, and this event is a fantastic symbolic gesture representing that change.
