While Metodej Jilek (CZE) is favored to win the gold medal in the Speed Skating Men's 1000m competition at the 2026 Winter Olympics, at -105, Davide Ghiotto (ITA) also has short odds with the promise of a payout of $160 for every $100 bet.

Jilek has so far earned the silver medal in the men’s 5,000 m speed skating event at his Olympic debut.

He has also earned a bronze medal at the 10,000 meter race of the 2025 World Championships and 2025 World Junior Champion at the Mass Start and 5000 meter races. Inline, he is 2024 World Junior Champion at five events.

Ghiotto competed in the men's 5000 metres at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics, and won the bronze medal in the 10000 metres in 2022.
