Sarah Sjostrom (SWE) is the favorite to win the 50m Freestyle in this summer's Olympics.
Sjostrom is a Swedish competitive swimmer specializing in the sprint freestyle and butterfly events. Sjöström is one of the most decorated swimmers in the history of swimming.
She won gold in Paris already in the Women's 100m Freestyle where she paid out $600 for every $100 bet.
“I didn’t think I would swim the 100m Freestyle,” Sjostrom said. “After the freestyle relay the first day, I told my coach straight away, ‘I don’t think the 100m Freestyle is for me, I want to do the 50m, I will rest until the 50m’. He was like, ‘no way, you need to go out there and see what you can do, no matter the outcome’.”
