On or around December 31, we will learn which NHL players have been chosen to represent their countries at the Olympic Games in Italy, and which will be watching the competition from the couch.

Every nation competing in the Winter Games must finalize its roster by December 31. This makes the coming weeks critical for Team USA boss Bill Guerin and Team Canada GM Jon Cooper.
