Ohio vs. Nevada Little League World Series Betting Odds August 29

OAKLAND PARK, Fla (Gambling911.com) - Today marks yet another time Ohio and Nevada will face off in this year's Little League World Series tournament.

Ohio comes into today's critical game as the -115 favorite.  They pay out $1200 for every $100 bet to win the title while Nevada opened the season promising a payout of $1400 for every $100 bet.

The winner advances to Sunday's World Championship against the winner of Japan–Curaçao, which was already in progress as this went to press.

Nevada already beat Ohio 6-5 in a walk-off thriller on August 21.

Ohio led that game 5-2 in the fourth inning, but Nevada chipped away before Hudson Cowley delivered a two-out, walk-off single in the bottom of the sixth.

Since then, however, Ohio has been on an extraordinary run.

Ohio has won five consecutive elimination games and outscored those opponents 39-6. Its latest victory was 7-1 over Iowa Thursday to reach today's U.S. Championship.

Even more impressive: during that run, Hamilton has outscored its opponents 39-6.

Boone Treadway may be the most important player in the game. He's Ohio's shortstop and one of its top pitchers, who is slated to start today. He has 13 strikeouts on the mound, but his plate discipline has been extraordinary: Treadway has drawn a LLWS-record 11 walks.

Nevada's strength is its well rounded hitting across the board.  Paseo Verde is batting a U.S.-best .351 with a .440 on-base percentage, and nine players are hitting at least .333. Nevada has accumulated 23 hits over its last two victories. Hudson Cowley deserves attention here. He delivered the walk-off hit that beat Ohio in their first meeting and can also pitch.
