Odds on Sean Strickland vs. Jake Paul, Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia
Sean Strickland is can’t miss-mouthing these days, and this past week he absolutely sounded off on Jake Paul and the socialite’s rising boxing career.
Of course, our crack staff was quick to react to the X (Twitter) trash talk, but Strickland probably isn’t going to like what he sees, in terms of the odds.
BetOnline.ag opened Paul as a decent favorite against Strickland in a BOXING bout. Here are the numbers and what the oddsmakers had to say:
Fight Odds
Jake Paul -200
Sean Strickland +160
"Strickland is a stand-up savage, but he doesn't box. He stands straight up and walks opponents down. There's no boxing stance there and while he's too rough around the edges right now, but with proper boxing training he could get there to go toe-to-toe with Paul."
Also, Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia have reached an agreement to face off on April 20 in Las Vegas, with Haney putting his junior welterweight championship on the line.
Haney will enter the ring for his third straight pay-per-view fight, marking his most prominent bout to date, as he ascends in the ranks of boxing stardom.
Garcia, widely regarded as possessing some of the fastest hands in the sport, suffered his first loss to Gervonta Davis in a true superfight last April.
BetOnline odds on the boxing match Friday morning, and Haney is a huge favorite.
Fight Odds
Devin Haney -500
Ryan Garcia +350
