Gambling911.com has released its 2010 Week 4 NFL Power Rankings based on the latest odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

Following the Green Bay Packers loss Monday night against the Chicago Bears, they are no longer ranked number one (though they’re still at number 2).  Quite frankly we’ve been a little bewildered as to why they were up there in the first place.  ESPN.com had them at number two but the folks at BetUS.com have assigned them the shortest odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl over these past two weeks.

Let’s now look at the top 10.  Number in ( ) is last week’s ranking.  Also note that there were a number of ties based on last week’s similar odds.  Gambling911.com will no longer be posting ties.  Instead, we will assign rankings ourselves for teams with the same odds.

*1 (2) – Indianapolis Colts – The Colts odds of winning the 2011 Super Bowl are still very much respectable at 7/1 for a payout potential of $700 for every $100 bet.

*2 (1) – Green Bay Packers – Sorry if we seem down on the Pack.  It’s going to be tough making it into the Playoffs let alone winning a Super Bowl with 18 penalties.  Need we say more?  Yes, they still would pay $700 for every $100 bet and Gambling911.com doesn’t see this as having much value.

*3 (2) – New Orleans Saints – A lot of pundits are questioning “What’s wrong with New Orleans?” as if the Atlanta Falcons (who beat the Saints in OT) will not be going anywhere this season.  The good news for gamblers is that the Saints pay $900 for every $100 bet to win the 2011 Super Bowl and that we see as tremendous value.

*4 (8) – Pittsburgh Steelers – 3-0 now without Roethlisberger.  This team looks as good as any to go to another Super Bowl.  At +1000 odds or a payout of $1000 for every $100 bet, we suggest locking this number in now.

*5 (4) – Baltimore Ravens – The Ravens drop a notch only because Pittsburgh is surging.  These Ravens would pay out $1200 for every $100 bet to win the Super Bowl.

*6 (6) – New York Jets – Also pay $1200.  They remain steady in our 2010 Week 4 NFL Power Rankings over last week following a good division fight down in Miami.

*7 (6) – New England Patriots – Another close game against a bad team or a loss will probably result in the once dominating Patriots being knocked out of next week’s NFL Power Rankings.  The defense is giving up an average of 27.3 points a game!  They had 14/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl this year.

*8 (8) – Dallas Cowboys – We kinda thought the Cowboys would bounce back this week.  They too had 14/1 odds and it’s possible this is the best value you’ll be getting this season so if this is your team to win the Super Bowl, lock in this price now.  The payout is $1400 for every $100 bet.

*9 (NEW) – Atlanta Falcons – The payout would be $1600 for every $100 bet to win the 2011 Super Bowl but this price probably won’t last so lock in this number now here.

*10 (5) San Diego Chargers – They are dropping fast out of our Rankings.  Payout is $1400 for every $100 bet.
