WASHINGTON — (Associated Press) - The American Gaming Association spent more than $360,000 in the second quarter lobbying federal officials about Internet poker and other forms of gambling, among other matters, according to a recent disclosure report.

That's more than the $326,000 it spent a year earlier but less than the $430,000 the group spent lobbying in the first quarter.

The Washington, D.C., industry group for commercial casino companies lobbied only Congress in the April through June period, according to the form filed with the House clerk's office on June 9.

The association's members include Las Vegas Sands Corp., MGM Mirage, Boyd Gaming Corp., International Game Technology, Harrah's Entertainment Inc., Bally Technologies Inc. and other casino operators and gambling equipment companies.
