The Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees begin a very important four-game series on Friday at Yankee Stadium. It is a critical baseball series for Boston since they must find a way to at least split this series in New York.  The Red Sox are chasing both the Yankees and Rays in the American League East and to make the playoffs they will have to catch one of them.
