Denver Broncos

The New Orleans Saints vs. Denver Broncos odds were set at -5 to -5 ½ across the board, favoring Denver. This one opened at different numbers, anywhere from -4 to -5 ½, so it is difficult to see exactly how the line is moving.

This one should be a heavily bet on game since both teams have decent odds of winning the 2009 Super Bowl. The Denver Broncos would pay $1900 for every $100 bet at BetOnline.com if they were to win the Super Bowl. The New Orleans Saints would pay $2000 for every $100 bet.

Gambling911.com sees a substantial underlay of 4 points on this game with the Denver line needing to be adjusted to -9 ½ if not -10.

New Orleans has not been this big an underdog in some time.

The Saints secondary could be primed for a beating against Denver's Brandon Marshall, according to Yahoo Sports.

As long as the Denver Broncos are lighting up the scoreboard, don't expect the offense to change much.

Broncos coach Mike Shanahan has an elite quarterback in Jay Cutler, a deep group of receivers including tight end Tony Scheffler, and no clear workhorse at tailback. He has always been flexible and played to his strengths, and this year that appears to be spreading the field and letting Cutler throw as often as he can.

Through two games, the Broncos lead the NFL in yards and points, which should mean more of the same the rest of the season, starting this Sunday against New Orleans.

It really is hard to see Denver not covering in this one.
