Reports began circulating Wednesday morning that NBA free agent Chris Bosh will be joining Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat.
ESPN's Shelley Smith also reported the pending move through independent sources.
Whether LeBron James, the kingpin of this summer's celebrated free agent class, will join them remains to be seen.
Wade and Bosh are expected to announce their decision on Wednesday.
James will announce his decision Thursday night at 9 ET during a one-hour special on ESPN.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Wade believes the Heat are poised to "pull off a free-agency coup" that would including signing all three stars.
It was just two weeks ago the three men met in South Florida, according to media reports.
Wade was listed as a huge 1/10 favorite to remain in Miami at BetUS.com. Bosh was listed with 2/1 odds of going to Miami, though he was favored to join the Chicago Bulls. James also was listed with 2/1 odds of landing in Miami and he too was a favorite to end up playing in Chicago.
