The latest Uruguay Holland World Cup odds had Holland as a -155 favorite requiring a US$15.50 bet to win US$10 (the initial bet is refunded should Holland win).  Uruguay would pay out big at +500 (US$50 for every US$10 bet).

Most of the betting action was coming in on the Netherlands.  In fact, Uruguay was getting less than 15 percent of the action.

Should Uruguay go on to win the 2010 FIFA World Cup outright, the payout would be US$1000 for every US$10 bet.  Holland would pay out 12/1 odds.

Steve Bloomfield of the Christian Science Monitor says, Don't count Uruguay out against the Netherlands in today's World Cup matchup.

"The team has impressed at every stage of this World Cup with its rock-solid defense, deadly counterattack, and the scoring genius of one of the Cup's best strikers, Diego Forlán.

"Sure, the Dutch knocked out favorites Brazil in the quarterfinal, but Uruguay's defense can choke the life out of even the most creative offense."

Uruguay was the last nation to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

For Holland, South Africa provides some home field advantage.  Not to mention, Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez's goal-line handball denied Africa's last nation standing, Ghana, victory.  Uruguay will be without Suarez for this game.

At 5/1 odds of winning against Holland, Uruguay may be worth a small bet.
