It was a scoreless game right to the end until USA and Algeria entered into stoppage time.  Landon Donovan scored a goal in the 91st minute.

Team USA advances to the next 16 as a result.

The end result follows a controversial call earlier in the game where another USA goal was disallowed.

In the 22nd minute, a USA cross that led to a goal was disallowed -- not the actual goal itself.  A replay seemed to show that the US team should be up 1-0 in the first half.

Both USA and England advance as England beat Slovenia 1-0.
