23 million people are expected to watch the England - USA World Cup game showdown on Saturday, and that is just in England.  Countless Americans will also be watching when the much anticipated game airs Saturday on ABC at 2:30 pm EST and 7:30 pm in Great Britain.

England was listed with -190 odds at BetUS.com, compared to the -200 line being offered at most of the British online bookmakers.  Only a US$19 bet would be required to win US$10 compared to the US$20 bet required elsewhere, and the savings really start to add up the more one bets.

According to the Daily Mail, supermarkets are gearing up for a £2.5billion spending spree as fans stock up on alcohol and barbecue food ahead of the country's opening game against the U.S.A.

According to Fox News, The England - USA World Cup match in South Africa is expected to generate more North American viewers than any soccer game in history.

"It's a very unique game, because it's something that U.S. sports fans can get right off the bat," said Trevor Hayward, the editor of World Soccer Reader. "It's U.S.-England ... they'll get that rivalry right away. It's such a huge opportunity to grow the sport and put the game in front of fans."
