Peruvian officials have reported that Joran van der Sloot has confessed to murdering a young Peruvian student, Stephany Flores.

"The girl intruded into my private life," van der Sloot told authorities, stating that she had used his computer without permission.

The enraged Dutchman, who was a lead suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Natalie Holloway, admitted to breaking Flores' neck.

"I did not want to do it," La Republica quoted him as saying. "The girl intruded into my private life."

He said that Flores had discovered he was the suspect in the Holloway case.

The woman's battered body was found on the room's floor more than two days after the murder occurred in a room registered to van der Sloot.

Van der Sloot was in Peru to attend the Latin American Poker Tour.

Fox News was breaking the story during the early morning hours Tuesday.
