Kansas Coach Lance Leipold Closing in on Favorite to Be Next Power 4 Coach Fired

The collective at Florida State finally found 50 million reasons to fire Mike Norvell.

Saturday's home loss to Clemson proved to be the final straw as Norvell was dismissed yesterday.

Norvell's odds to be fired next were 5/1 last week at BetOnline Sports & Casino. The updated odds are below.

The order and odds have changed slightly, with Brent Key and Mike Elko making the biggest moves toward the top.

Greg Schiano (Rutgers) is the 3/1 favorite to kick off the new week.

Both Schiano and Lance Leipold (Kansas) are attracting renewed scrutiny after their teams lost Saturday, October 31.

Rutgers kept the final margin to seven points, but its offense struggled severely. The Scarlet Knights completed just three passes and gained 249 total yards, with 134 coming on only two plays.

The loss followed a 42–14 defeat to Northwestern the previous weekend.

Kansas was competitive but couldn't finish the game. Quarterback Jalon Daniels' successor, Cole Ballard, completed 20 of 35 passes for 285 yards and a touchdown to Cam Pickett.

Running back Dylan Edwards managed only 42 yards on 20 carries, a significant setback after rushing for 156 yards against Baylor the previous week.

Leipold had the second shortest odds to be let go at 7/2.
