Annie Andrews Now Pays Out $300 for Every $100 Bet to Win the South Carolina Senate Race

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (Gambling911.com) - South Carolina is suddenly in play for the Democrats.

Republican candidate and sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, Darline Graham, was still the favorite at -400.  A $40 bet pays out $10 plus you get your $40 bet back (for a $10 profit).  Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Annie Andrews pays out $30 for every $10 bet or $300 for every $100 bet.

This is a significant development as BetOnline had Graham as the -600 favorite just last week.

According to the latest Trafalgar Group poll conducted between Oct. 16 and Oct. 18, Graham has a three point lead over Andrews.

But there are signs the GOP is scared. On October 6, 2026, Republicans announced plans to direct $5 million into South Carolina's U.S. Senate race, an unusual investment in a state that has traditionally been reliably Republican.

The money comes from the Senate Leadership Fund (SLF), a major Republican-aligned super PAC, rather than directly from the Republican National Committee.

And this week, former South Carolina governors David Beasley (a Republican) and Jim Hodges (a Democrat) issued a joint bipartisan endorsement for Andrews.

Republican Sen. Tim Scott has said that South Carolina was not among the 10 toss-up states his National Republican Senatorial Committee was concentrating on. He also distinguished his committee's operations from the separate SLF investment.
