Top Trending Gambling News: Patriots, Chiefs, Panthers Seeing Heaviest Lopsided Betting Action Sunday

LAS VEGAS (Gambling911.com) - The New York Jets vs. New England Patriots game was seeing some of the heaviest action after the Texans-Jaguars game, which was already in progress in London Sunday morning.

New England was seeing lopsided action.  Hope the bookies and agents in this region have a good Pay Per Head bookie outsourcing platform.

More than 90% of moneyline wagers and nearly 80% of spread money backing New England at DraftKings.

The Patriots are among Sunday's most heavily supported favorites, although the spread has settled around New England -7.5.

The books dropping to -7 suggests New York could cover in this one.  The power ratings do give us a number of Patriots -7.5, so a bit of a tough call going with the Jets.  We here at Gambling911.com do believe that is the play though.

Elsewhere, the Panthers (playing in Philadelphia as a -3 point favorite) and Kansas City Chiefs in the later game as a -7.5 favorite, were seeing the heaviest action this day.

The Ravens vs. Browns was one of the most wagered on games with action balanced on both sides.

Jared Moskowitz Now in 'Lock' Territory as Oddsmakers Move Odds Up Full Point - Florida-25 District

Gambling911.com revealed on Saturday that Democrat Jarod Moskowitz has become a near "lock" at -500 to win his Florida house race against former Boca Raton mayor, Republican Scott Singer.  Moskowitz effectively lost his old congressional district through Florida's 2026 redistricting, and the new district he is running in was initially designed to favor Republicans.  Moskowitz currently represents Florida's 23rd Congressional District, but Republicans redrew the map in May 2026.  Inside Elections rated the congressional race a Toss-up in August but BetOnline had Moskowitz a -325 favorite, which suggested a strong lean towards the Democrats. This weekend BetOnline shifted his odds dramatically towards "lock" status, -500, after initially moving to -400.

Kalshi and Polymarket Won’t Be Part of FTC Sports Gambling Probe, Report

Rival prediction markets Kalshi and Polymarket will reportedly be excluded from the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) probe into deceptive practices in the $167 million online sports gambling industry. The two crypto-linked firms aren’t a focus of the FTC probe, which will instead set its sights on sportsbooks like DraftKings and FanDuel. It will likely look into misleading advertisements, as well as the rate of suicides, hospitalizations, and bankruptcies caused by the industry.  Sources familiar with the matter told The Washington Sun that the industry evaluation “is in its early stages,” and that it’s conducted by political and career staffers. Vegas Casino Flamingo Theft Trial Continues Monday

The jury provided Canadian tourist, Mitchell Fairbairn, 34, with an extensive set of questions as his trial kicked off this week in Las Vegas.  Fairbairn is accused of stealing and harming a beloved flamingo named Peachy at the aptly named Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino resort on March 3 and testified Friday that he did not mean to harm the bird, who is now recovering.   While claiming to have drank upwards of 40 beers the day of the incident, Fairbairn, who lives on a farm, told jurors he does "not drink a lot" and followed that with "Nowhere near what I drank here".  The trial is expected to continue for the next few days and conclude some time this week.
