There are 35 Senate races in the 2026 midterm elections. Of those 35 races, there are just eight considered to be "tossups," at least according to the odds provided by BetOnline.ag.
Keep in mind that the below numbers are set by actual oddsmakers, they are not dictated by peer-to-peer wagering like prediction markets.
One of those races is in Nebraska where Republican incumbent Senator Pete Ricketts is still a strong -300 favorite but independent candidate Dan Osborn is chipping into that lead and offers a potential payout of $240 for every $100 bet with a win. These odds have remained unchanged over the last week.
A YouGov poll conducted early this month found Osborn (I) leading Pete Ricketts (R) in the U.S. Senate race, 48% to 47%.
Senate odds for the 35 elections are updated in real-time leading up to the midterms.
