Both Austin Simmons and Isaiah Marshall are coming off very strong season-opening performances.
Simmons was exceptionally efficient in Missouri's 54-14 win. He completed 17 of 19 passes (89.5%) for 252 yards, 4 touchdowns and no interceptions. He averaged 13.3 yards per attempt and did most of that damage in less than a half. He also went 9-for-10 for 199 yards and all four touchdowns on throws traveling at least 10 yards downfield.
Marshall was also excellent in his first start as Kansas' quarterback having completed 14 of 19 passes (73.7%) for 246 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Jayhawks' 51-6 win. He added 49 rushing yards on seven carries, giving him 295 yards of offense.
