Quarterback hoarding has officially taken over the NFL.Quarterback hoarding has officially taken over the NFL.

In shocking roster moves, four teams kept four quarterbacks on their initial 53-man rosters: the Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings have already trimmed their room by one, but the Browns might expand theirs back to four once Dillon Gabriel heals up. Carrying this many active passers is incredibly rare. This century, it has only happened a handful of times:
2024 & 2025: The Cleveland Browns 2020: The New England Patriots (the first year post-Tom Brady) 2000: The New England Patriots (coincidentally, Brady's rookie year)
Is this a weird outlier or the NFL's new normal? Either way, it got the oddsmakers’ creativity juices flowing.
