New Jersey vs. Ohio Little League World Series Betting Odds

OAKLAND PARK, Fla (Gambling911.com) - Ohio comes into Tuesday's Little League World Series game versus New Jersey as a -170 favorite with New Jersey promising a payout of $132 for every $100 bet to win

This promises to be one of the more compelling U.S. elimination games of the LLWS. Both teams are 2-1, and the loser goes home.

It's Bayonne Central Little League (New Jersey/Metro) against West Side Little League of Hamilton (Ohio/Great Lakes).

Ohio has responded extremely well after a heartbreaking 6-5 opening loss to Nevada.

Hamilton then destroyed Massachusetts 10-0, including a combined no-hitter, and eliminated Texas yesterday 6-1. Against Texas, Ohio's offense finally got rolling again, with Josiah Infante delivering an RBI single and Zach Hilton driving in two with a single.
Bayonne has been one of the better stories of this LLWS.

New Jersey beat Massachusetts 2-1 and Pennsylvania 3-1, taking a 15-game postseason winning streak into Sunday's game against Iowa.

Then Iowa shut Bayonne out 6-0.

That was Bayonne's first loss of the entire postseason, dating back through district, sectional, state and regional competition.

New Jersey pays out $600 for every $100 bet to win the whole thing while Ohio pays out $1200.

Betting on this year's Little League World Series is not without its controversy.

The Little League World Series issued the following statement to Gambling911.com:

"Little League International stands by its statement first issued last year that there is no place for betting on Little League games and players or any youth sports competition. Little League is a trusted place where children are learning the fundamentals of the games and all the important life lessons that come with having fun, celebrating teamwork, and playing with integrity, and no one should be exploiting the success and failures of children playing the game they love for their own personal gain."

"We're not here to say whether gambling on 10-, 11- and 12-year-olds is right or wrong, that's up for you to decide (and possibly write about), we're just delivering the information," BetOnline Brand Manager Dave Mason tells Gambling911.com.
