Paddy O'prado Preakness Stakes odds were listed at +350 at Sports Interaction.com for the potential to pay out $35 on a $10 bet.

Paddy O'prado finished 2nd at the Kentucky Derby.  He was predicted to win by those of us here at Gambling911.com with the realization that Paddy could handle the muddy track.  He handled the track quite well as it turns out. Despite traffic trouble, he finished within 2 3/4 lengths of Super Saver.  Icebox, who finished ahead of Paddy O'prado, will not be racing in Saturday's Preakness Stakes.

Paddy O'prado's odds may be slashed a bit more come race time as he is proving to be a popular pick.  Hence, we suggest locking in the +350 current odds here now.

"I wouldn't trade places with anybody," Paddy O'prado co-owner, Jerry Crawford told the Des Moines Register this week. "We haven't seen the best of him yet."

Kent Desormeaux will be riding Paddy.

"The whole key to the race is what Desormeaux does," said Bob Baffert, who trains Lookin At Lucky. "He's going to try to jockey for position early. I think Kent will be watching Super Saver. He will be Kent's target. So I think Kent will start the tempo and the rest of us will have to fall in line."

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
