Little League World Series
Saturday LLWS Matches
Saturday August 22, 2026 (8:53 am EDT)
Canada vs. Australia (1 pm ET)
Canada comes into Saturday's match against Australia as a -205 favorite. Australia pays $157 for every $100 bet. Little Mountain went a perfect 8-0 in the Canadian regional tournament, but immediately ran into a powerhouse South Korean team in its opener. South Korea shut out Canada 7-0. Canada's 8-0 regional record gives it a much stronger résumé coming into this match. Australia had a similar experience Friday morning. It finally got to play after Thursday's rainout and was beaten 7-1 by Mexico.
Massachusetts vs. Ohio (3 pm ET)
This promises to be the best game of the afternoon. Bridgewater Massachusetts lost an absolute heartbreaker to New Jersey in its opener. Bayonne beat Massachusetts 2-1 in seven innings, meaning Bridgewater was essentially one play away from starting 1-0. Hamilton Ohio, meanwhile, fell behind Nevada (Mountain Region) before making a major comeback, but ultimately lost 6-5.
Dominican Republic vs. Japan (5 pm ET)
Japan comes into this match having been stunned by Curacao 6-0. In fact, Japan was the -500 favorite in that one. They will face the DR as a -190 favorite. Dominican Republic pays $146 for every $100 bet. The Dominican team stayed within one run against a Nicaragua club that arrived in Williamsport after dominating Latin American qualifying.
Alabama vs. California (5 pm ET)
California is a big -425 favorite while Alabama pays close to $300 for every $100 bet with a win here. Phenix City, Alabama lost its opener 2-0 to Tacoma, Washington, and that game required seven innings before Washington finally scored. California entered Williamsport 3-0 in West Region play. But Sweetwater Valley ran into an excellent Iowa pitching performance Friday and lost: Iowa 1, California 0.
