SACRAMENTO, Cal (Gambling911.com) - Police have identified 22-year-old Joseph Naugle in connection with a Wednesday mass stabbing incident at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort, just north of Sacramento.
Naugle was booked into the Placer County jail on attempted murder charges for five of his co-workers that he stabbed.
Naugle is accused of attacking the employees around 7 p.m. Wednesday inside Dos Coyotes Border Cafe before deputies took him into custody within minutes.
One victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the other four were treated at the scene. Authorities say all five victims and the suspect were employees, and no casino guests were involved or injured.

Investigators say he used a knife, knew the five victims and appears to have acted alone, although a motive has not yet been announced. The casino remained open after the attack while the restaurant area was closed during the investigation. Authorities say there is no continuing threat to the public and the case remains under investigation.
Naugle was scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
