Atlantic City Boardwalk Fire in Front of Bally's Casino: What We Know

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Gambling911.com) - Emergency personnel were on scene of a fire underneath the Atlantic City boardwalk outside Bally’s Sunday morning, specifically at 1900 Boardwalk.

The Atlantic City Fire Department had yet to establish a cause of the fire as of Sunday afternoon.

The extent and estimated cost of the damage have not yet been disclosed, however, the casino itself appears not to have suffered any impact.

That wasn't the case in 2023 when a Resorts Casino fire spread from beneath the Boardwalk to the casino's exterior wall, marquee, awning and entrance doors and required temporary evacuations. That fire burst through the boardwalk's slats at around 4 p.m. and was driven by strong winds.

Bally's Casino remained fully operational as of Sunday afternoon.
