Following Abdul El-Sayed's victory over Haley Stevens, everyone is eager to project the victor's chances come November when he squares off against incumbent Mike Rogers.
According to ongoing odds provided by BetOnline Sports & Casino, El-Sayed's chances are getting worse.
Going into this week, El-Sayed had -225 odds to become Michigan's U.S. Senator (odds equated to roughly a 70% implied probability).
But after closer-than-expected primary results, those odds have lengthened. El-Sayed is still favored, but not by nearly as much.
Michigan Senate Election
Abdul El-Sayed (M) -150
Mike Rogers (R) +120
(Probability has dropped from 70% to 60% since Monday)
