Lyoto Machida was coming in as the -180 favorite vs. Mauricio Shogun Rua for Saturday night's epic UCF 113 bout (Sportsbetting.com was offering wagering on Machida vs. Rua here

Machida is a Japanese Brazilian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter from Salvador, Brazil who fights as a Light Heavyweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.  He remains undefeated and is the #1 light heavyweight fighter in the world and the #4 pound-for-pound fighter by Sherdog

"I think any time that you're able to fight with someone for 25 minutes, I think the same way that 'Shogun' got to familiarize himself with my style, I've been able to familiarize myself with his style," Machida said. "I think that this fight is definitely going to be a much different fight because we're going to be a lot more familiar with each other's style. I think we're going to be a lot more comfortable [trying] to do what we want to do in there."

The winner of Saturday's main event could face the winner of UFC 114's main event between rivals and former champions Quinton Jackson and Rashad Evans.
