Maja Chwalinska is set to take on Mirra Andreeva in the women's final of the Roland Garros French Open Saturday.
Mirra Andreeva is a pretty heavy favorite at -415. Chwalinska pays US$315 for every US$100 bet.
Andreeva won 6-1, 6-3 over Marta Kostyuk in the semifinals of the French Open on Thursday.
Andreeva continued to storm past her opposition at Roland Garros as she hammered the No. 15-ranked Ukrainian in straight sets after one hour and 16 minutes to move into the first major final of her career. The 19-year-old from Russia struck 14 winners compared to 22 unforced errors and went 5-for-13 on break point chances in the victory.
Chwalinska won 7-6 (4), 6-4 over Diana Shnaider in the semifinals of the French Open on Thursday.
Chwalinska continued to surprise as she toughed out the No. 23-ranked Russian in two sets across two hours and 10 minutes on court to become the first qualifier to reach the Roland Garros final. After coming into the tournament ranked No. 114 in the world, the 24-year-old from Poland is now projected to be near the top 20 in next week's rankings. Chawlinska will try to become one of the most surprising major winners in history in the final against No. 8 Andreeva .
