Kalshi Customers Say Trump Will Release New UFO Files Before 2027

While U.S. President Donald Trump has promised to release government UFO files "very, very soon," Kalshi traders seem skeptical about what they will reveal. However, if the Trump administration is sitting on evidence of extraterrestrial life, traders are far less optimistic that they will see the light of day any time soon. President Donald Trump recently said the Pentagon would release more information on UFOs, and 86% of traders at Kalshi believe that will happen. "We're going to be releasing a lot of things that we haven't. I think some of it's going to be very interesting to people,” President Trump said during a recent meeting with the Artemis II crew. However, the President did not give a specific timeframe for the information release, and Kalshi traders do not believe the U.S. will confirm that aliens exist (22% chance).

Prediction Market Ban and Mobile Sports Betting Bills Destined to Die in Minnesota

Senate File 4511 to prohibit prediction markets passed the state Senate on a 56-10 vote. However, it has gotten nowhere in the House Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, where it is expected to die. The committee does not have any meetings scheduled on this bill as the legislative session comes to an end May 18. A bill to allow mobile sports betting also appears likely to die. SF 4139, a bill to legalize mobile sports betting in Minnesota, has been awaiting a hearing in the Senate Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee since March 23.

Golden Tempo Preakness Odds Not Up Yet as DeVaux Inches Towards Making Decision

Golden Tempo won this year's Kentucky Derby as one of the bigger long shots at 24-1 odds. Trainer Cherie DeVaux will have an answer by week's end as to whether Golden Tempo enters the Preakness Stake with a Triple Crown promising a payout of around $800 for every $100 bet. "We're going to look and see how much energy he has when he's on track, see how he's moving, see his attitude," she said. "Other people's opinions are not part of the conversation," she said. "I appreciate that there is history with the Triple Crown. I appreciate that everyone's excited about it; however, the horse comes first."
