Mayweather vs. Pacquiao

One thing I know for sure is that Netflix isn’t stupid. Their current market capitalization is approximately $320 billion.

They must be sure putting fighters out of the spotlight or past their prime or just not good (see Tyson vs Paul and Rousey vs Carano) will garner eyes and lots of them.

Last night, a rematch fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. was announced for September 19th at the Sphere in Las Vegas that will be streamed live on Netflix.

Their first fight happened at least five years too late. This fight will take place 11+ years after their first fight. So, this second fight is taking place 16 years too late or basically a kid was born and can now drive!

Despite me being Debbie Downer, Netflix ain’t in the business of failing and there will be plenty of viewers for this fight which means plenty of people will be wagering on this fight.

The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag opened lines on this fight late last night with Mayweather Jr. as a -225 favorite with Pacquiao +170. The line has since moved in Money Mayweather’s favor.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Manny Pacquaio

Floyd Mayweather Jr. -275

Manny Pacquaio +205
