Curling was not on most folks bingo card to be among the most popular events at this year's Winter Olympics...but a series of controversies have helped propel this competition and boost curling wagering as well

 

Both the men's and women's Canadian teams have now been cited for the same violation...illegally making contact with the stone a second time after its release. The women's team was penalized by removing the questioned double-touched stone from play.
