Kentucky Derby 2010: Endorsement Out

Another of the favorites to win the 2010 Kentucky Derby has been pulled. This time it is Endorsement. He is the Sunland Derby winner.

Endorsement was pulled from the race because of an ankle injury while another contender, Interactif, won't be entered.

The pre-race favorite, Eskendereya, was removed from consideration Sunday by trainer Todd Pletcher because of swelling in his left front leg.

BetUS.com had Endorsement among the single digit favorites at 8/1 odds prior to today.

Vitruvian is the biggest long shot of Saturday's Belmont Stakes race but has celebrity involvement, which should drive some betting interest.

Ottinho is listed at 20-1 odds to win the Belmont Stakes.

Powershift is listed at 10-1 odds to win the Belmont Stakes.

Renegade comes into this weekend's Belmont Stakes race as the odds on favorite at 2-1.
