Patriots Games

As a part of the recently-announced "Freedom 250" initiative, President Donald Trump released a video today that described some of the events his administration has planned for America's 250th birthday celebration.

We've heard about the UFC White House event since July, but a new, potentially fist-to-cuffs competition unveiled is what Trump has dubbed "The Patriot Games."

Trump said that during the Fall of 2026, a male and female high school athlete from each of the 50 states (and Washington D.C.) will face off in a four-day event. We have no idea what the format of the contest will be, only that it will involve high schoolers from every state and that it will happen over a four-day stretch during the Fall.

Of course, many people are making comparisons of The Patriot Games to a battle royale death match we all know as "The Hunger Games.

May the odds forever be in these kids' favor.

Of course, where there is a competition there will be odds to wager on. BetOnline.ag has created two markets for The Patriot Games, asking which states will win both the male and female divisions of the event

It's no surprise to see athletic powerhouses like Texas, California and Florida at the top of each list.

The longshots at the bottom of the lists are also presumable, but the interesting odds come from the contenders and somewhat darkhorses in between.
