Mavericks fans never forgave GM Nico Harrison for trading their homegrown star, Luka Doncic.
Going from one foreign legend in Dirk Nowitzki to another in Doncic is similar to the good fortune the Green Bay Packers had going directly from Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers.
And then Harrison traded their beloved Luka without even shopping him around to get the best possible offer as he was set on Anthony Davis despite the Mavs already having two good, young centers in Dereck Lively and Daniel Gafford.
Fast forward nine months and Davis has played 14 total games for the Mavs while “Fit Luka” is better than ever with the Lakers.
Multiple stories are out and about regarding a potential AD trade in an effort to get younger and build around Cooper Flagg.
