Week 8 saw Miami, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Memphis and UNLV each suffer their first loss of the season.

We also saw Carson Beck’s Heisman hopes crushed by an zero-TD, four-INT game. He’s obviously no longer the Heisman favorite

Here are notes on the odds changes after Week 8:

CFP

    • Ohio State remains the favorite.
    • Indiana moves from fourth to third.
    • Miami moves from third to eighth.
    • Vanderbilt from 60/1 to 33/1.
    • Tennessee from 40/1 to 75/1.
    • USC from 55/1 to 100/1.
    • Washington, Nebraska, Auburn, Baylor, Memphis, and UNLV are now off the board.

Heisman

    • Fernando Mendoza is once again the Heisman favorite.
    • Carson Beck from the favorite at 3/1 to 12th at 45/1.
    • Julian Sayin from 14/1 to 4/1.
    • Marcel Reed from 22/1 to 7/1.
    • Diego Pavia from 50/1 to 10/1.
    • Devon Dampier, Demond Williams Jr., Dylan Raiola, Joey Aguilar, Justin Haynes, Kevin Jennings, Rueben Bain Jr. and Saywer Robertson are now off the board.
